TERMS & CONDITIONS

Last updated: 2 January 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern all bookings and participation in training courses organised, advertised or facilitated through Tactical Training Agency.

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before making a booking or payment.

1. Company Information

Tactical Training Agency is a trading and marketing name operated by:

SOG Defense Ltd
Company Registration Number: 16761141
Registered Office: London, United Kingdom
Website: www.sogdefense.com

Throughout these Terms & Conditions, “Company”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to SOG Defense Ltd, operating under the trading name Tactical Training Agency.

“Participant”, “Customer”, “you” and “your” refer to any individual registering for, booking or participating in a training course.

Unless expressly stated otherwise in writing before a booking is completed, the contractual relationship for bookings made through Tactical Training Agency is between the Participant and SOG Defense Ltd.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting a registration, making a payment or confirming a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and the applicable policies published on our website.

These Terms & Conditions form part of the agreement between you and SOG Defense Ltd.

If you do not agree with these Terms & Conditions, you must not proceed with a booking.

Participants are responsible for reviewing the policies applicable to their chosen course before completing registration.

3. Training Services

Tactical Training Agency provides access to specialist training programmes, which may include:

  • Tactical and firearms training.

  • Combat firearms and tactical skills.

  • Hostile environment preparedness.

  • Survival and emergency preparedness.

  • Operational readiness programmes.

  • Physical and field-based training.

  • Other specialist training activities described in individual course advertisements.

The specific content, duration, location, schedule, prerequisites and inclusions of each programme are described on the relevant course page or in the Participant’s booking confirmation.

The Company reserves the right to make reasonable operational adjustments to course delivery where necessary, provided that the essential nature of the purchased service is not materially misrepresented or changed.

4. Booking and Registration

All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by the Company.

To complete a booking, Participants must:

  1. Complete the required registration information.

  2. Provide accurate and truthful personal details.

  3. Accept the applicable Terms & Conditions and policies.

  4. Pay the required deposit or full course fee.

  5. Provide any additional documentation reasonably required for the course.

A registration enquiry or submission does not guarantee a place.

A booking becomes confirmed once the Company has accepted the registration and received the required payment.

The Company reserves the right to refuse a booking where eligibility, legal, safety, security or administrative requirements cannot be satisfied.

Course places may be limited and are allocated subject to payment and confirmation.

5. Course Fees and Payment

The applicable course price will be displayed on the relevant course page or communicated directly to the Participant before booking.

Unless otherwise specified:

  • A deposit of 30% of the total course price is required to secure a booking.

  • The remaining balance of 70% must be paid no later than 30 calendar days before the course commencement date.

  • For bookings made within 30 days of the course commencement date, full payment is required upon booking.

  • All payments must be made through payment methods authorised by the Company.

A booking is not secured until the required deposit has been received and confirmation has been issued.

If the outstanding balance is not received by the payment deadline, the Company may issue a written payment reminder and provide a reasonable opportunity to resolve the outstanding amount.

If payment remains outstanding, the Company may cancel the reservation and apply the Cancellation & Refund Policy.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that payments are made correctly and on time.

Any applicable currency conversion charges, international bank fees or payment-provider charges imposed on the Participant are the Participant’s responsibility, unless otherwise required by law.

6. Deposits and Reservations

The 30% deposit reserves a place on the selected course and allows the Company to begin making the necessary administrative, operational and logistical arrangements.

Deposits are subject to the Cancellation & Refund Policy.

A deposit is not automatically non-refundable in every circumstance. Any amount retained following a cancellation will be assessed in accordance with the applicable cancellation terms, the Company’s reasonable losses and mandatory consumer protection legislation.

7. Course Information and Inclusions

Each course has its own description, requirements and inclusions.

Depending on the programme, the course price may include:

  • Training instruction.

  • Training facilities and range fees.

  • Training equipment.

  • Weapons and ammunition, where applicable.

  • Accommodation.

  • Meals.

  • Local transport.

  • Training materials.

  • Certificates of completion.

  • Other services expressly listed in the course description.

Only items expressly included in the relevant course description or written booking confirmation form part of the booking.

Unless specifically included, the Participant is responsible for:

  • International and domestic flights.

  • Airport transfers.

  • Visas and immigration requirements.

  • Personal travel expenses.

  • Personal equipment and clothing.

  • Additional accommodation.

  • Meals not expressly included.

  • Personal medical expenses.

  • Travel insurance.

Where an advertised inclusion becomes unavailable, the Company will seek to provide a reasonable alternative of comparable value or make an appropriate adjustment in accordance with applicable law.

8. Changes to Course Arrangements

The Company reserves the right to make reasonable changes to course arrangements where operationally necessary.

Such changes may include:

  • Adjustments to the training schedule.

  • Changes to training facilities or ranges.

  • Replacement of an instructor with another suitably qualified instructor.

  • Changes to the sequence of activities.

  • Substitution of training equipment.

  • Changes to accommodation or transport providers where necessary.

  • Modifications to activities due to safety, legal or regulatory requirements.

Where a change materially affects the principal content or nature of the booked course, the Company will notify affected Participants and provide appropriate options in accordance with applicable law.

The Company will not use minor operational adjustments as a means of substantially reducing the service originally purchased.

9. Participant Eligibility

Participants must satisfy the minimum age, physical, legal and other eligibility requirements specified for their selected course.

Unless otherwise stated on the relevant course page, Participants must be at least 18 years old.

Certain programmes may require additional experience, documentation, physical capability or legal eligibility.

The Company reserves the right to request reasonable evidence of eligibility before or during registration.

Participation may be refused where a Participant:

  • Does not meet the published course requirements.

  • Cannot provide required identification.

  • Cannot satisfy applicable legal or regulatory requirements.

  • Provides false or misleading information.

  • Presents a material safety risk to themselves or others.

Where participation is refused because of a Participant’s own failure to satisfy disclosed eligibility requirements, the Cancellation & Refund Policy will apply.

10. Firearms, Equipment and Legal Compliance

Certain training programmes may involve firearms, ammunition, specialist equipment or activities regulated by local law.

All such activities are subject to the laws and regulations of the country where the training takes place.

Participants must comply with all applicable laws, licensing requirements, range regulations, safety procedures and instructor instructions.

The Company will coordinate authorised training arrangements where applicable. However, participation is conditional upon the necessary legal permissions and operational approvals being in place.

Participants must not bring personal firearms, ammunition, restricted items or regulated equipment to a training location unless expressly authorised in advance and legally permitted.

The Company reserves the right to suspend or cancel an activity if legal authorisation, required documentation or appropriate safety conditions are not available.

11. Participant Conduct and Safety

Safety is a fundamental condition of participation.

All Participants must:

  • Follow instructor and range staff instructions.

  • Attend mandatory safety briefings.

  • Use equipment only as authorised.

  • Respect other Participants, instructors and staff.

  • Comply with venue rules and local regulations.

  • Behave responsibly throughout the programme.

  • Immediately report any safety concern or incident.

The following conduct is strictly prohibited:

  • Reckless or unauthorised handling of firearms or equipment.

  • Deliberate disregard of safety instructions.

  • Unauthorised discharge of firearms.

  • Threatening, violent, abusive or discriminatory behaviour.

  • Harassment or intimidation.

  • Attending training while impaired by alcohol or recreational drugs.

  • Deliberately disrupting training activities.

  • Any conduct creating a serious risk to another person.

The Company and its designated instructors retain the authority to suspend an activity or remove a Participant where reasonably necessary for safety, legal compliance or the proper operation of the course.

Where removal results from serious misconduct or a material breach of these Terms & Conditions, a refund may be refused to the extent permitted by applicable law and justified by the circumstances.

12. Medical and Physical Fitness

Participants are responsible for ensuring that they are reasonably fit and medically suitable for their selected programme.

Certain courses may involve demanding physical activity, outdoor conditions, extended periods of activity or other physically challenging exercises.

Participants must disclose relevant medical conditions, injuries, physical limitations, allergies or medication that could materially affect their ability to participate safely.

The Company may request additional information or medical clearance where reasonably necessary.

The Company reserves the right to restrict or refuse participation in an activity where a material medical or safety concern exists.

Participants must immediately notify an instructor if they become unwell, injured or unable to continue safely.

13. Assumption of Inherent Risks

Participants acknowledge that tactical, firearms, outdoor and physically demanding training activities involve inherent risks.

Depending on the programme, these may include physical exertion, falls, muscular injuries, impact injuries, environmental exposure, fatigue, hearing-related risks and other accidental injuries.

By choosing to participate, Participants acknowledge that such risks exist even when reasonable safety precautions are followed.

Participants agree to act responsibly, follow all safety procedures and remain within their personal capabilities.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury resulting from negligence.

14. Travel and Insurance

Participants are responsible for their own travel documentation, immigration requirements and personal travel arrangements unless expressly included in the course package.

The Company strongly recommends that all Participants obtain appropriate travel insurance before travelling.

Insurance should ideally cover:

  • Medical emergencies.

  • Hospitalisation.

  • Emergency evacuation and repatriation.

  • Personal accidents.

  • Trip cancellation and interruption.

  • Activities involving firearms and tactical training, where applicable.

Participants must verify directly with their insurer that their selected policy covers the actual activities included in the course.

Standard travel insurance policies may exclude firearms training, high-risk activities or certain forms of tactical instruction.

The Company does not provide personal travel insurance unless expressly stated in writing as part of the relevant course package.

Participants are responsible for understanding the limits and exclusions of their own insurance arrangements.

15. Third-Party Providers and Training Partners

Certain programmes may involve independent instructors, training facilities, shooting ranges, accommodation providers, transport operators or other specialist organisations.

These providers may have their own operational requirements, safety procedures and rules.

Participants must comply with all applicable third-party requirements.

The involvement of a third-party provider does not remove any contractual or statutory responsibility that SOG Defense Ltd owes to the Participant.

Where a third party provides a separate service directly to a Participant under a separate contract, the terms of that separate arrangement may also apply.

16. Removal or Refusal of Participation

The Company may refuse admission, suspend an activity or remove a Participant where reasonably necessary due to:

  • Serious safety violations.

  • Failure to follow instructor instructions.

  • Unsafe or unauthorised equipment handling.

  • Intoxication or impairment.

  • Aggressive or threatening behaviour.

  • Harassment or misconduct.

  • Failure to meet legal requirements.

  • False or misleading information.

  • Conduct that endangers other Participants, instructors or staff.

The Company may take immediate action where a serious or imminent safety risk exists.

Where a Participant is removed because of their own serious misconduct or breach of these Terms & Conditions, the Company may retain appropriate amounts in accordance with the Cancellation & Refund Policy and applicable law.

17. Attendance and Late Arrival

Participants are responsible for arriving at the designated training location at the time specified in their booking confirmation.

Participants should allow sufficient time for travel, registration, identification checks and mandatory safety briefings.

Late arrival may result in exclusion from an activity where participation would compromise safety or disrupt the programme.

Failure to attend, or arriving too late to participate safely, does not automatically create an entitlement to a refund or replacement course.

Any refund or alternative arrangement will be assessed in accordance with the Cancellation & Refund Policy and applicable law.

18. Personal Property and Equipment

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings and equipment throughout the programme.

The Company is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal property except where liability arises under applicable law.

Any equipment provided by the Company or its training partners must be used responsibly and returned as instructed.

Participants may be held responsible for damage or loss caused intentionally or through negligent misuse, subject to applicable law.

19. Photography, Video and Recording

Photography, filming and audio recording may be restricted during training activities.

Participants must follow all instructions concerning photography, filming, operational security and the privacy of others.

Participants must not publish images or recordings that identify another Participant without the appropriate permission.

Any photography or video recording carried out by the Company for promotional or marketing purposes will be handled in accordance with applicable data protection legislation and the separate Privacy Policy and Media Consent arrangements.

20. Intellectual Property

All training materials, documents, presentations, course content, photographs, videos, branding, logos and other intellectual property provided by or belonging to the Company remain the property of their respective owners.

Participants are granted permission to use supplied training materials for personal educational purposes only.

Without prior written authorisation, Participants must not:

  • Reproduce or distribute proprietary training materials.

  • Sell or commercially exploit course content.

  • Publish confidential course documents.

  • Use Company branding or logos for commercial purposes.

  • Claim affiliation or endorsement by the Company without permission.

21. Complaints and Disputes

Any complaint concerning a booking or training programme should be submitted in writing to:

Email: [INSERT OFFICIAL CONTACT EMAIL]

The complaint should include the Participant’s name, course details, booking reference and a clear description of the issue.

The Company will acknowledge complaints within a reasonable period and aim to provide a substantive response within 14 working days.

Where additional investigation is required, the Participant will be informed of the expected response timeframe.

Nothing in this section limits a Participant’s statutory rights or access to any applicable dispute resolution process.

22. Limitation of Liability

The Company will provide its contracted services with reasonable care and skill, as required by applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or restricts liability for:

  • Death or personal injury resulting from negligence.

  • Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

  • Breach of statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.

  • Any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.

Subject to the above, the Company is not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the booking contract was entered into.

The Company is not responsible for losses caused by a Participant’s own unlawful acts, failure to follow reasonable safety instructions or deliberate misconduct, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Nothing in this section removes any liability for the acts or omissions of the Company’s employees, agents or subcontractors where the Company is legally responsible.

23. Cancellation and Refunds

All cancellations, postponements, booking transfers and refund requests are governed by our separate Cancellation & Refund Policy.

The Cancellation & Refund Policy forms part of these Terms & Conditions and should be read before completing a booking.

In the event of any inconsistency, mandatory statutory consumer rights will take precedence.

24. Privacy and Personal Information

Personal information collected during registration and booking will be processed in accordance with the Company’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.

Participants may be required to provide identification, contact details and other information necessary for registration, eligibility checks, insurance arrangements or legal compliance.

Sensitive personal information, including relevant medical information, will be handled in accordance with applicable legal requirements.

25. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Subject to mandatory consumer protection rules, the courts of England and Wales shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms & Conditions.

Where a Participant resides outside the United Kingdom, mandatory consumer protection rights and jurisdictional rules applicable in their country of residence may also apply.

Nothing in this section removes any rights that cannot legally be waived.

26. Severability

If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be treated as severable to the extent necessary.

The remaining provisions will continue to apply, provided that the overall agreement remains legally effective.

27. Amendments

The Company may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The version applicable to a confirmed booking will normally be the version accepted by the Participant when entering into the booking contract.

Any material changes affecting existing bookings will be communicated where necessary.

No amendment will retrospectively remove statutory rights or impose new contractual obligations without the required agreement.

28. Contact
